Proclamations

A proclamation is an official declaration issued by a person of authority to make certain announcements known. Week of the Young Child is a great time to request a proclamation from your Mayor, City Council, Governor or other officials. NAEYC provides a template of ideas and guidelines on how to create a proclamation to fit many situations so it can be personalized and submitted for approval and signature of the officials in your community.
