MOAEYC Mardi Gras Ball Highlights
The MOAEYC sponsored Mardi Gras Ball on Friday, March 7, 2025, at the Conference on the Young Years (CYY) was a huge success! With over 1000 participants preregistered for the event, the stage was set for a night of dancing, food, prizes, ECE Professional awards, and FUN!! Participants came in all kinds of Mardi Gras attire and danced the night away.
Derek and John from Lakeshore once again provided lots of door prizes, including the largest ones valued at hundreds of dollars. Many other vendors provided smaller door prize for the drawings, and while all participants were eligible to enter the drawings, a few prizes were designated exclusively to MOAEYC members - with an identical item included in the mass drawing.
A new addition to this year's event was a gift of a picnic blanket given to the first 50 current NAEYC/MOAEYC members -verified through the NAEYC database.
Board members are already planning for next year's event with a cowboy/western theme - so start making plans now to join in the night of celebration for early childhood educators at CYY 2026!!
